ASU to Chair Community Services Training Package Steering Committee

The Board of the Community Services and Health Industry Skills Council(CSHISC) has appointed ASU Assistant National Secretary Linda White as Chair of the Steering Committee for the Review of the Community Services Training Package (CHC02). If you wish to participate in the communication forums, you must RSVP urgently by September 4.

The CHC02 training package is a very important part of the skill development of workers in the community services sector and can play an important part in determining skills solutions for the future in our sector.

The ASU is the largest union in this sector and ASU members and officials will play an ongoing and vital role during the review of this training package.

If you would like to participate in the scoping phase of the review, a range of communication forums have been organised by the CSHISC in all capital cities. The forums commence on 11 September 2006 and details of the dates are available onthe link titled CSHISC Forums, below.
