Secure your Union's future by securing your Union's income. Every fee collected by payroll deduction puts the ASU at risk - the Howard Government's industrial relations legislation has made it easy for employers to stop payroll deductions of Union fees. The Howard Government could also stop the deduction of Union fees by payroll deduction altogether. Even the best employers may not be able to collect fees by payroll deduction in the long term. Some members say that they will wait until payroll deductions of Union fees can no longer be collected to make the switch - this will be too late!
